Anyone who wants a good workout, Wednesdays, 7-8AM. Call

Saturday Morning Tennis Tune
Up
9:30-11AM, Tune-up class, Lake San Marcos Country Club
and Resort - 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday. $50/month for
residents and $60/month for non-residents.
This is a hard pumping, moving class
for players of all levels. We will do some stretching, running,
and fun drills for an hour and next, everyone plays points in
various types of games, court space permitting.

LSMCC&R News Beginning Jr. Class Mondays and Wednesdays 3:15-5:15 pm
This is a basic class on fundamentals. Don will be teaching it emphasizing
building a solid foundation by starting with sound basic stroke development.
Intermediate Jr. Workout Mondays and Wednesdays 3:15-5:15 pm
These workouts are for juniors wanting to advance. $30 per session
for residents and non-residents.
Advanced Jr. Workout Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:15-5:15 pm
These workouts are for tournament bound juniors. Don has been working
with 4-6 per class. He does drills on fast feet, ball placement, consistency,
serving, volleying, & playing out points. $30 per session for residents
and non-residents.
USTA Recreational Coaches Workshops (RCW)

Mini Singles
and Doubles Tournaments will be held for all juniors and adults at all
our locations- Starting
when and where there are enough players.
Dates: Started in April.
Fee: $20 for Doubles Team. $10 for Singles.
All of our locations only have two courts - so, doubles
will move it. These Tournaments are really 5 Game Round Robins - the
doubles team with highest accumulated points wins. Each location will
have their own refreshments and prizes. You will play other Juniors
or Adults within your level. The three levels are:
Beginning (1.0-2.5) Knows how to serve,
volley, and do ground strokes.
Intermediate (3.0-4.0) Consistent serve, can place
their volleys, has learned how to control their spin on ground strokes.
Advanced (4.5-5) Confident serve, accurate volleys,
can consistently place their ground stroke where they need it.

We use a structured program of lessons and play designed to move children
4-10 quickly through the transitional stages of graduated equipment
to full-court tennis.
It’s most beneficial when our little tennis players to do at least
4-6 sessions with us.
